Catina Taylor is an entrepreneur who is developing a problem-based learning school for K-12 youth. Catina K. Taylor, realized that the joy of learning was being drained from the students she was interacting with. Students weren’t able to DREAM or imagine themselves with value or hope. As they matriculated through their educational experience, they were and continue to be disengaged to the point that they literally check out. Their lack of academic progress shows this on standardized tests, increased suspension rates, and poor school spirit.
From those observations and in conducting numerous student and parent interviews, DREAMS was born. She has spoken at major speaking engagements such as The Lean Lab, The IMatter Experience, Startup Weekend, Ceed Panel and more. Through Catina’s speaking engagements she has transformed the lives of others.
